Our imagery

Photographic imagery is a great opportunity to engage an audience. We have three principles when commissioning or sourcing photography.

Natural portraiture

Avoid overly posed and smiley subjects, and try to capture genuine emotion. Use the subject’s surroundings to create a dynamic composition whilst maintaining the focus on them.

Out in the world

The majority of our photography should be set in real life situations. Avoid studio photography where possible.

Details

Alongside portraiture and real life photography, look for interesting detail shots and crops. This creates a unique and intimate view of the subject.
